  • Top 40 – Valentine Potluck, February 15 at 7 p.m.  Entertainment is the Greenwood Hill Blue Grass Band.

LOOKING AHEAD…

  • Sunday Evening Service, February 16, 7:30pm. Brian & Cindy Jantzi and their family will be sharing about their mission trip to Haiti!
  • Did you miss the LOVE & RESPECT conference?  Join us for a FREE viewing of the Love & Respect DVDs on Feb. 22 at 9am in the sanctuary. This is for Maple View Church only and will be a full day (9-5) with a brown bag lunch at 12:30. No need to sign up – just come!

COMMUNITY EVENTS

  • Christian Singles: SOSA will be going out for dinner for Valentines.  Feb. 14 we will be dining at “My Place” restaurant, 96 Huron St. New Hamburg. 6:30 pm.  Choice of 5 different entrees ranging in price of $14 – $15 Beverages, soup or salad, appetizers & dessert extra. RSVP by Feb. 7 in order to reserve a spot at 519-662-2971. Also if you can, please wear something red.
  • Saturday, February 15, 7:00 pm – Spirit Break Out Worship Service at Riverdale Mennonite Church, a monthly community worship service to encounter Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit.  This will be a time of singing, prayer, and teaching with Elijah DeBoer.  Invite your friends and bring your Bibles.
  • Family Day Open House at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp– Feb. 17, from 10:00am-3:30pm – Come enjoy many free indoor and outdoor activities including sledding, skating, pretzel-making, crafts and much more! Please bring your own outdoor equipment. Some activities are weather dependent. Enjoy a hot lunch for $2/person or bring a bagged lunch (peanut-free).   • Tuesday, February 18, 7:00 p.m.  Listowel Mennonite Church is hosting – Fashion for Freedom!
  • Rockway Mennonite Collegiate hosts Annual Fund Raising Dinner Thursday February 20 at 6:30 pm featuring student performers and a delicious meal. Tickets are $80 and include a $55 dollar tax receipt. To support the school and to reserve tickets contact Jackie Fackoury at 519-342-0007, ext. 3012 on or before February 14.
  • Hey students! Interested in learning about Rockway, if you are currently in Grades 6 – 8, you are invited to visit Rockway for a day in February and March and learn more about why our students LOVE Rockway.   • ESL Program for Low German Mennonites starts again at Poole Church  An enriching outreach program that empowers the women and children with language, new cultural experiences, socialization, confidence and just a time away for the morning. Needed: drivers for women who do not have vehicles. ( but to be respective of them, we ask for women drivers or couples to give of their time) 2nd need: childcare volunteers. Program meets weekly, but if you can only volunteer every other week, every bit of time helps. Program starts on Thurs. Feb. 20. Please consider giving of your time for this valuable program to continue. We also ask for your continued prayers in support of the exciting growth and experiences that take happen every week.   • Urgent: An ECE Teacher needed for ESL classes at Poole Mennonite. This position with Toddlers begins February 20 to May 22. Classes are held on Thursday mornings excluding the week of March break.
