- Read a Thon Kids!! Please return forms & money by next Sunday, March 3 to either Sue Lebold, Ross Gerber or James Jantzi. Skating party: Saturday, March 16 at the St. Clements arena. Skating at 7:00pm. Awards at 8:00p.m.
- Easter Choir: for a couple of songs Easter Sunday morning. Welcome anyone who enjoys singing grade 6 to age 100 (but if you are 101 you can sing too!!) Experience is not necessary. See sheet on bulletin board in foyer to sign up. Rehearsal dates:March 7, 21, 28, at Maple View Church, 7:30 pm.
- MYF Dodgeball Tournament – Saturday, March 9. Please be at the church by 9:45. Cost is $10 per person lunch included.
- Sunday Evening Service – March 10, 7:30pm Come out and hear about the mission trip of one of our youth! Nick Huber will be sharing on his recent trip to Guatemala.
- MYF Progressive Supper – The MYF is looking for volunteers to host a section of the progressive supper happening on Friday, March 22.

- Attention Jr. Youth, MYF to Adult. On Monday, March 11at 7pm at Wellesley Mennonite Church, The King’s Song, The Only Weapon you Need will be performed by SPIRIT BORNE. Spirit Borne is the performing arts and discipleship expression of Quinte Youth For Christ/Youth Unlimited. This group is made up of 42 high school students. - March 16: Saturday at 8:30 am: 5th Annual Peace and Justice Community Breakfast at Steinman Mennonite Church. This year’s theme is “Why Climate Change is a Justice Issue” The featured speaker will be Willard Metzger, Executive Director of Mennonite Church Canada and Representative to the UN Climate Change Forum. Admission is by donation. Registration is required by March 11th, call 519-634-8311.

- Interested in becoming a member of Maple View Mennonite Church? Talk to Pastor Brent about joining membership exploration group that would meet 2-3 times.
- Annual Heifer Sale raised $194,465. With cash donations the total for the day was over $205,000. The 121 donated heifers averaged just over $1,500 per head. Miscellaneous items, raised another $10,040. First fruit giving is certainly evident as the quality of the donated heifers was top-notch. Over the past 32 years, this generosity by the farm community has raised almost $4.5 million to support the work of MCC.

- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED BY MENNONITE DISASTER SERVICE! MDS Ontario is partnering with MDS New York in the rebuilding phase on Staten Island, NY, as a result of Hurricane Sandy, last fall. Needed: short term volunteers (1 to 2 weeks) as well as long term leaders such as Project Director, Office Manager, Cooks and Crew Leaders to help people get back into their homes. MDS appreciates the volunteers that have already signed up, March is filled and Apr is filling quickly. This is a long term response.
