  • Tonight, 7:30pm We will be hosting Covenant Award-winning artists, “The Wiebes”. Husband and wife duo, Shane and Angela, are frequent guests on 100 Huntley Street and Living Truth Television. You may even recognize Shane from his Top 5 finish on CTV’s second season of Canadian Idol. The Wiebes most recent album, The Hymns Collection, won Inspirational Album of the Year in 2012. A love offering will be taken.

  • Tues. Feb. 18, 7:00 p.m.  Listowel Mennonite Church is hosting – Fashion for Freedom! An evening of fun and fashion with clothing and accessories made by women rescued from sex trafficking. Engage your passion for art, fashion, style and hospitality. Bring some friends, send the word out and support this worthwhile, and fun, project.
  • Rockway Mennonite Collegiate will be hosting their annual Fund Raising Dinner at the school on Thursday February the 20 at 6:30 pm featuring student performers and a delicious meal. Tickets are $80 and include a $55 dollar tax receipt.   • Today we welcome the Bawina Family.  Father: Kyaw Thein Lian, Mother: Hung Lai San, Daughter: Christ Novel Sun.  They are joining us for the Worship Service along with Cung Bik Lian the interpreter from the Chin Mennonite Church.  We are planning a Rice Dish Fellowship Meal- hot or cold- soup, casserole or salad rice dish.  Be creative! Bring a dessert if you would like.  Any questions contact Joyce Jantzi, or Judy Bender.

February is Gospel Echoes Read-a-Thon Month. Today your children are bringing home a letter explaining the event. Stapled to the back of the letter is a parent consent form.  If you wish for your child(ren) to participate, please sign it and return to Jr. Sunday School Superintendents by next Sunday, January 19.    The money raised will be used to provide Bible Study courses for men and women in prison. $1 raised- one Bible Study book, $25 raised – eight Bible study books and an Award Bible.
