- Ladies Sewing Circle -Tuesday, April 2. This will be our special salad potluck meeting so bring a friend and a salad. Sarah Kipfer will be having devotions and Cindy Jantzi will lead the singing.

LOOKING AHEAD…
- Everyone is invited to attend a Spring Bible School at Maple View Mennonite Church on Saturday, April 6 from 1-4pm and Saturday April 13 from 1-4pm. Dr. David Sloss will be the speaker and will be speaking on “Looking at a Hebraic Understanding Of Scripture”. Anyone interested in more information can take home a brochure from the coffee table in the lobby.
- Sunday, April 7, noon – Bag Lunch in the Maple Room for anyone interested in becoming a member at Maple View.
- April 7, 7:30pm Sunday Evening Bible Quizzing Night. Come out to challenge our Bible Quizzing team. This will be a great practise for them so bring your questions on Mark!
- Annual Meeting of the members of Amish Mennonite Fire and Storm Aid Union will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church, 2537 Hutchison Road Crosshill on Monday April 8 – at 7:00 p.m.
- Ladies Coffee Hour – Monday, April 8, 7:30pm in the Maple Room. Get to know a few ladies from our church a little better; share in some special music and of course the yummy treat afterwards! Ladies of all ages are welcome and encouraged to invite a friend from within or outside of the church. $5. Questions can be directed to Jenny Brenneman, Rosanne Nafziger, Joyce Jantzi or Pam Wideman.
- Men’s Accountability Group: Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 pm in the Maple Room.
- MYF Air Band: Prepare your acts for Friday, April 12 at 7:30pm at the church. 2 acts per person/group.
- Family Life Potluck/Games – Sunday, April 14. Bring your favourite board game and food to share. Lunch at 12:30. Drink provided.
- Sunday, April 14, noon – Lunch in the Maple Room for anyone interested in becoming a member at Maple View.
- Girls Club – Monday, April 15. Save the date girls! We will have a guest coming to help us with a special project.
- Music at Maple View – Appreciation and Vision! Tuesday, April 16, 7:30 pm. Everyone involved in Maple View’s music ministry and anyone interested in using their music gifts here, this meeting is for you! New ideas and input are welcome! COMMUNITY EVENTS…
- Springfest: A Full Day of Family Fun – Join us on Saturday, April 6 from 9am to 3pm for the Stratford & District Christian School’s annual SpringFest event. The events being offered this year include: hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), silent auction, mom to mom sale (donations can be dropped off at the school), baking & floral sale, clay & craft workshop, face painting, cookie decorating, bouncy castle, obstacle course, games, food, cotton candy, popcorn and candy table. Entry is free. Tokens are available for food and games.
- Tuesday April 9, Mennonite Savings & Credit Union 49th Annual General Meeting – Stories of Social Justice – hear more about MSCU’s Faith & Finances Families and preview an excerpt from Theatre of Beat’s newest production. Registration 6:30 pm; Meeting : 7:00 pm ; fellowship and dessert to follow – at Steinmann Mennonite Church
- April 12-14 – “Mom, It’s Time to Sell the House!”, dinner theatre presented by Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Road, Floradale. Roast beef dinner tickets (April 12-13, 6:30 pm) $18 adults and $8 children 10 and under. Freewill offering for theatre entertainment that begins at 8:00 pm April 12 & 13 and 2:00 pm April 14. Proceeds to Elmira Community Service organizations and Floradale Church Building Fund. Dinner tickets by reservation only available from Florence at 519-669-4356.

- Tickets for the New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale Promotion Dinner are now available. Monday, April 22 at Bingemans. Guest speakers returned workers Luke & Kaitlin Jantzi who worked in economic development and responding to war trauma in South Sudan.
