  • Missions Committee Meeting – Thursday, March 6, 7:30 pm at the church. See you there!
  • Jr Youth Games Night – March 7: 7-10 pm. We have invited Jr youth from Poole, Riverdale, Milverton, and Wellesley Mennonite to come for a games night. If you have road hockey sticks please bring them along. We would like our boys to bring cookies and our girls to bring fruit enough to share with our guests. Any questions talk to Ruth or Becky
  • Boys Club will be meeting at Finks Hill on Saturday March 8 at 10am. Then will be going back to the church for pizza. Please bring a toonie and cookies to share for dessert!  Pick up boys at 1pm. If anyone needs a ride please call Scott, Alvin or Victor.

LOOKING AHEAD…

  • Easter Choir – You are invited to be part of a powerful area-wide choir presentation of the Easter message, “Two Crowns”. Rehearsals will be held at Maple View Mennonite Church on Mondays March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, April 7, and 14; Sundays March 23 and April 13.  All rehearsals are at 7:30 pm. Two performances are scheduled for Good Friday, April 18 and Easter Sunday, April 20, both at 7:30 pm with a possibility of a third performance. Directed by Tania Leis, 519-595-7700.
  • COMFORTER ‘BLITZ’ – Tuesday March 11, all day! Come and join us as we knot comforters for MCC. Stay awhile or drop in for a short time; many handsI can make a BIG difference!.
  • Girls Club: Tuesday, March 11, Comforter Knotting at the Church.  7:00-8:30. See you there!

  • Wellesley Blood Donor Clinic – Monday, March 3 at Wellesley Community Centre from 3-8pm  A couple people are needed from Maple View to  help from 5:30-closing.  Contact Bill Siegner.

Opportunity for grandparents & grandchildren (grades 1-6) to spend quality time together enjoying interactive programming focused on “Tending the Garden”.   • Thank you to everyone who responded to the RightNow Media Interest Survey.  Although there is not currently enough interest for us to commit to a church subscription, it will remain available for trial until March 20.  Enjoy it until then!
  • Note! There is a table in the foyer with Lost & Found Items, Please take the time to see if anything belongs to you.
  • Mennonite Savings & Credit Union The deadline to contribute to your RRSP is Monday, March 3. Contact your local branch to discuss your contribution options with a member of our Investment team.

  • Supporting children and youth is a good investment in the future of your community.  Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region needs your help in transporting children or youth to family access visits, school, day care, therapy appointments, etc.  Volunteer drivers need to have a vehicle in good working order, 1 million liability insurance, and a good driving record.
