Cemetery Plots For Sale: Pre-purchase your cemetery plot(s) at today’s fees of $700 per plot including care and maintenance fees.  On Tuesday, May 7 between 7-9pm. The cemetery board will be at the church to complete these contracts and collect the fees.  Brochures from the government and copies of the contract and cemetery bylaws are available at the mailboxes if you wish to read them in advance. COMMUNITY EVENTS…

Sunday April 28, 7 p.m.  The Wiebes – Live in Concert at East Zorra Mennonite Church.  The Wiebes are Multiple Covenant Award Winners and will feature their album “The Hymns Collection”.  Free admission – a love offering will be taken to help support the EZMC Youth.  The opening act will be Glorify and the EZMC Youth Band.

Mennonite World Conference Volunteers:  MWC needs volunteers on Tuesday, April 30 to stuff envelopes. Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp- 18th Annual Road Hockey Tournament, Saturday, May 11. Ages 18 & up, cost is $150/team.   • Have you been wondering how to serve right here in our community?  Menno Homes is a non-profit organization that has been providing affordable accommodation in the Region of Waterloo since 2001. They are building again this year on David St in the village of Wellesley.  It is our hope that each area church could send a delegate plus any other interested persons to an information meeting on Tuesday Apr. 23 at 7:30 pm at Wellesley Mennonite Church.  Let’s all work together to assist Menno Homes help families right here in our community.

  • Ladies Coffee Hour – Monday April 8, 7:30 in the Maple Room.  Join us for a wonderful evening of getting to know each other.  Special music by Michelle Albrecht and sharing from Sarah Kipfer and Tania Leis.  Also featuring Irene Ellis from La Tienda.  La Tienda is an organization that sells handmade, fair trade jewellery and accessories by Haitian and Dominican ladies.  There will be an opportunity to purchase items and support the women of Haiti and Domincian Republic.  Suggested donation for the evening is $5.  Ladies of all ages welcome!
